I'm Falling in Love with RICOH!

I've found a very portable camera which the function most exactly the same as DSLR camera. And I’m already falling in love with it since the first time I read the review in the Digital Camera Magazine. Ricoh recently introduced a unique, if not revolutionary, interchangeable lens unit camera system. The type of Ricoh product that catches my eyes is The Ricoh GXR. It is currently the smallest interchangeable lens digital camera on the market. The GXR consists of a sensor-less camera body and separate “camera units.”
Yup, you read that right.
Each camera unit has its own lens, image sensor and image processing engine, which slides directly into the camera body. Each unit has a different focal length and may have a different type sensor than found in another unit.
Currently, there are two lens units available. The 24-72mm zoom lens has an aperture range of f/2.5-4.4 and a 10 megapixel CCD built-in sensor and VGA video. The single focal length 50mmf/2.5 macro lens has a 12.3 megapixel CMOS sensor and High Definition video.
It has No sensor cleaning!
Unlike a DSLR, the GXR sensor doesn't have to be cleaned since it is built right into the same unit as the lens. However, the connectors on the body and units need to be protected from dust when not attached by using connector caps.
How bout the Camera body?
The camera body has what photographers come to expect on a digital camera: function buttons on the back of the camera, a built-in flash and microphone, a hot shoe for an external flash and a large three inch, high resolution LCD. What I love most about it is, it's really portable to bring to any function or to bring along while doing any activities especially for adventure activities that able you to take less taking care of your camera than yourself.
GXR accessories
Ricoh offers a variety of accessories for the system such as an external flash, conversion lenses, an external viewfinder, lens hoods and a cable switch. Not surprisingly, they have custom soft cases for the camera units.
If you’re the adventurous type photographer (I would suggest it to my BF Firdaus Sayang, although he's not raelly a good photographer tho... and he's looking forward to be one....) and you are looking for a small interchangeable lens camera, the GXR is something to consider though it is not at all cheap. However, there are some skeptics that the camera will not catch on so you may want to wait and let the dust settle before purchasing the system.

Here I upload to you the pictures of Lumix GF1 and Ricoh GXR. You can tell the differences.

LOMO Camera

This would be my new item to add in to my wish list for this year. Diana+ LOMO camera. What come across of my feeling about this is that, it's like looking at a majestic classic car and wish that you could walk down to the dealership and pickup such a beauty brand new..... Who could resist the charms of its plastic body? How could i not absolutely love its lo-fi masterpiece photos? Something this beautiful, this classic, and this crucial to the world of analog photography shouldn’t have suffered such an early demise...... that why i really need to have it! Serious!

Embroidery

Then there are other people who, when you tell them you do embroidery, will say "oh so you do cross stitch?"
What is going on? To some they are two different things and to others one is the same as the other. Am I missing something?
Needlecraft
Embroidery
Various embroidery variations
Cross Stitch
Various cross stitch variations
Odd leftover categories, like Needle Punch
I think people look at embroidery and cross stitch as different because, though they are similar, they are very different styles of creating an image.
When I started crafting as a child, I learned counted cross stitch first. On the one hand, the stitch was somewhat simpler than embroidery stitches, and the fabric gave me clear indicators where the floss was supposed to go. On the other hand, I didn't have the attention span to count the stitches very carefully, I confused which hole I was supposed to go in when, and I didn't like the way cross stitch looked. And worst of all (to my young mind), it took forever to finish a piece. When I saw video in Youtube to learned how to do embroidery, it was like a whole other world opening up. It was a more fluid, very open to interpretation, and goshdarnit if you don't want to use a pattern you make it up as you go. It feels so different to embroider, in comparison, that it seems like a totally different sport to me.
As to people who say it the other way, it seems to me they are probably uninitiated to needlecraft.

Remember Me?
Loved this story! I really enjoy Sophie Kinsella's books and this one did not disappoint.

Closer
I've had enough
of this parade
I'm thinking of the words to say
We open up
unfinished parts
Broken up
it's so mellow
And when I see you then i know it will be next to me
And when I need you then I know you will be there with me
I'll never leave you
Just need to get closer, closer
Lean on me now
Lean on me now
Closer, closer
Lean on me now
Lean on me now
Keep waking up (waking up)
without you here (without you here)
another day (another day)a
nother year (another year)
I seek the truth (seek the truth)
We set apart (we set apart)
Thinking ofa second chance (a second chance)
And when I see you then i know it will be next to me
And when I need you I know
you will be there with me
I'll never leave you
Just need to get closer, closer
Lean on me now
Lean on me now
Closer, closer
Lean on me now
Lean on me now
Lean on me now
And when I see you then i know it will be next to me
And when I need you I know you will be there with me
I'll never leave you
Just need to get closer, closer
Lean on me now
Lean on me now
Closer, closer
Lean on me now
Lean on me now
Lean on me now
Closer, closer
Closer, closer
